The network-based remote rack monitoring systems of Didactum are equipped on the front with a 1-Wire connector. These innovative E.U. made alarm systems not only support physical environment, safety and power monitoring, but also access control of mission-critical facilities and sites.
Check and control e.g. the access to sensitive telecommunication rooms and IT infrastructure. Business-critical network and server cabinets can be reliable protected against unauthorized access. This electronic key is equipped with a factory-provided, unique 64-bit key number. They key is traceable to avoid that it is assigned twice.
The unique key number is applied to the electronic key with laser engraving.
The authentification is carried out by simple contact of the electronic key with the corresponding electronic key reader. The electronic key is stored in the web interface of the Didactum Rack Monitoring System. In it`s integrated logic scheme, you can easily define automatic actions such as switching the relays. Here the connected electromagnetic door lock (optional accessory) can be opened automatically. Up to 500 different actions can be set up in the logic scheme of your Didactum remote access and monitoring device.
