This special sensor cable was developed for the detection of uncontrolled leakage of diesel, petrol, kerosene, and other hydrocarbon-containing liquids. A fuel leakage is detected along the entire length of the Fuel Leak Sensor Cable. The Fuel Leak Detection Sensor Cable is available in various lengths here in the online store for infrastructure monitoring solutions. Individual lengths can be assembled on request. Networked monitoring even of unmanned rooms and systems

This leak sensor cable for the detection of hydrocarbon fuel can be installed flexibly on the floor, on the wall or along pipelines. Clips for fixing this sensor cable to the floor are included. After the sensor cable has been installed, the connector of the oil, petrol, kerosene leakage sensor cable is connected to the Fuel Leak Sensor unit (must be purchased separately).

This sensor is then plugged into a free sensor port of the Didactum® Monitoring System 50 / 100 (DC) / 400 / 500 (DC) / 600 (DC) / 700 (DC) via RJ11 patch cable. With the support of the Didactum® auto-identification feature, the special cable then appears in the multilingual web interface of the remote monitoring unit. Here you can name the sensor individually and store the desired notifications and alerts in case of fuel leakage. You can even upload the floor plan of your installation into the networked monitoring unit. In the event of critical events, such as the uncontrolled release of hydrocarbon fuels, the special cable is shown on the floor plan flashing. Save valuable time when the worst comes to the worst. 

Uncompromising notification and alerting in case of fuel leakage

Every remote monitoring unit from Didactum® works stand-alone. No software installation on PC or server is required. Access the web based remote monitoring device via tablet, smartphone, PC or laptop and configure the necessary alarms in case of gasoline, diesel or oil leakage.

In addition to e-mail alerts, all infrastructure monitoring units offer notifications via SMS (via LTE or GSM modem) and SNMP (Simple Network Protocol). Here, the fully SNMP enabled remote monitoring devices send SNMP traps to building or network management solutions. They can remotely queried by SNMP get commands via LAN / WAN. In addition, actuator functions are also provided so that an alarm siren is switched in the event of an oil or diesel leak and / or the message is transmitted to the alarm system or building monitoring system. All occurred events and status changes are recorded in the infrastructure monitoring system, including date and time stamp.
