The Didactum infrared light barrier can be used for protection of entrances, windows, doors, gates, glass fronts, shelf units, and also for glass roofs. If a greater number of Didactum`s IR light barriers are used, you can also protect walls and ceilings against break and intrusion.
Use the Didactum light barrier also for the protection of Server cabinets in computer room, server center or data center.
You can also use the IR light barrier for control of roller shutters. The Didactum infrared light barrier is easy to install and provides a reliable detection of access, breakthrough or penetration. Using tamper protection, Didactum`s infrared light beam protected against unauthorized opening.
The photocell has an integrated relay contact and is connected to the Dry Contacts of Didactum Remote Monitoring Systems (Dry Contact Module item required). Alternatively, the IR Light Barrier can be connected to Didactum`s Dry Contact Expansion Unit.
Upon detection of trapdoor or penetration, Zertio`s monitoring appliance send you alert by e-mail, by SMS (via GSM modem ) or by trap to SNMP-compliant automation software or IT Management Systems such as Nagios or OpenNMS. By switching the relay outputs of the Didactum IT monitoring system 500, the intrusion alert can also be forwarded to the building management systems.
