With the new Wi-Fi sensor from manufacturer Didactum, customers get a wireless LAN solution for the real-time-based measurement of the two important environmental factors temperature and humidity (RH). This wireless sensor is supplied with an external power supply. Here is no need for replacing empty batteries or charging them.

SNMP enabled Wi-Fi temp/humidity sensor
This wireless temperature & humidity sensor is configured with it`s integrated web interface. After you have connected this WiFi sensor to your existing wireless LAN network, the real time measured temperature and humidity data is transmitted via SNMP to Network Management Software (eg Nagios, OpenNMS, WhatsUp Gold, Zabbix, etc.). Monitoring and graphing tools such as Cacti, RRDtool, MRTG, etc., are also supported by this SNMP enabled wireless temp and humidity sensor.
Required SNMP MIB files, as well as plugins for Nagios and Nagios derivates, are included. At regular intervals, manufacturer Didactum provides free microcode firmware updates. If desired, the measured temperature and humidity data can also be transferred to the cloud. In the context of the machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, this WiFi wireless LAN sensor also supports the MQTT protocol (Message Queue Telemetry Transport).
In infrastructure with significant electromagnetic interference, such as server room, data center, power station or remote telecom site, we recommend to use Didactum`s wired sensors.
